NEW – OVERHAUL – REPAIR - RECERTIFICATION

DILUTER DEMAND MASKS
PRESSURE DEMAND MASKS

NEW MASKS. Orders for new diluter or pressure demand masks are taking from 60-120 days ARO due to the current demands of our military. The masks pictured above have a price new from $6,500 - $21,000, depending on the configuration. For current pricing, please e-mail the full mask PN to info@aviationoxygen.com.

REPAIR. A Work Order estimate of the parts, labor and functional test will be faxed to your office for approval prior to any work performed. Repairs are generally completed within 5-7 days. [Exceptions: 1) Any EROS masks parts which may not be in stock must be ordered from France—allow for possible delays. 2) Adams Rite mask parts are generally not available—considered a “twilight company” - consider change out] Should your mask fail the functional test, an overhaul will be required. A revised Work Order will be faxed to your offices for approval prior to any additional work being performed.

OVERHAUL/RECERTIFICATION. A Work Order estimate of the parts, labor, overhaul kit and functional test will be faxed to your offices for approval prior to any work performed. Overhaul and recertification is generally completed within 7-10 days (see above possible exceptions for EROS and Adams Rite masks). Overhaul costs are generally $1800 labor plus parts—depending on the mask’s condition [the more expensive part, a cracked casing, can cost upwards of $2000). An overhaul includes repairs and recertification; the entire unit is disassembled and gone thru from head to toe.

FUNCTIONAL TEST: A functional test— which identifies leaks or blockages not seen by the naked eye— must be performed prior to the issuance of FAA paperwork for both mask repairs and mask overhauls. Only occasionally are additional parts needed in addition to those in the original work order; if this should occur, a revised work order will be faxed to your office for approval prior to any further work being performed.

NOTE: Should you decide to have the mask scrapped or returned without completion of the Work Order(s), there will be a $550 evaluation/scrapping fee.
